How we collect, use and protect your information.
Draft — last updated 5 October 2026. This policy is pending legal review before the site goes live.
Mohanji Datta Tapovan, Ganeshpuri is a project of Mohanji Bharat Welfare Foundation ("we", "us", "our"), registered in India, operating from Gut No 360, Village Chambale, Near Chikanipada, Wada, Palghar 421312. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through this website.
We collect information you give us directly, such as when you book a service, sponsor a cause, register for an event, create an account, or sign up for our newsletter. This may include your name, email address, phone number, postal address, and — optionally, for your donation records — your PAN number.
We also collect some information automatically, such as your browser type, device information, and pages visited, using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).
Payments on this site are processed by PayU, a third-party payment gateway. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details — PayU handles that data directly under its own security standards and privacy policy.
This site uses cookies to remember your preferences and understand how the site is used. From time to time, we run awareness and fundraising campaigns on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), which may use the Meta Pixel or similar tracking technology to measure ad performance and show relevant ads to people who've visited this site (remarketing).
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and manage ad personalisation through your Facebook ad preferences. See Meta's own privacy policy for how they handle this data.
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to run the site and our programmes:
We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfil the purpose it was collected for — for example, donation records are kept for accounting and tax compliance purposes. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need to retain (see Section 9).
This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children without a parent or guardian's involvement in the booking or registration.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to unsubscribe from communications, by writing to mohanjidtbharat.manager@mohanji.org.
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
Questions about this policy can be sent to mohanjidtbharat.manager@mohanji.org, or by post to Mohanji Bharat Welfare Foundation, Gut No 360, Village Chambale, Near Chikanipada, Wada, Palghar 421312.
